Established in 2002, Off the Vine is the original organic produce company with a twist. They are the truest form of a co-op. You order, they deliver.
This is how easy it is to get all organic, raw, non-GMO and gluten free products. You go online to their website: www.offthevine.org, pick out what you would like to order (they have so much to choose from) before Midnight on Sunday, the following Wednesday you pick your order up from one of the numerous locations.
Off the Vine have three locations in Pensacola (The Herb Shop, Old Thyme Remedies & Aragon Wine Market), Mike’s Garden in Gulf Breeze, two locations in Navarre. Not only these partner pick up locations locally, but they also have pick up locations in Fort Walton, Niceville, Crestview, Destin, Grayton Beach, Rosemary Beach, locations in Alabama and Georgia as well.
In Pensacola and Gulf Breeze all locations pick up dates and times are Wednesday’s from 3-6 p.m.
Off the Vine also has a flagship store at 11 Eglin Parkway, NE, they are open from 9-5 Monday through Friday. They can put together a great gift and help you coordinate a catering for home or office.
What you order is a package of organic fruits and vegetables designed to feed 2-4 adults for a week. Imagine being able to have the freshest, organic, locally grown, in season fruits and vegetables delivered to a store near you. For an additional fee they can deliver to your home.
You can choose from a berry box, super salad box, mixed fruit and vegetable share, small mixed fruit/vegetable share an all fruit share. Each has about 13-15 different varieties of each. They even offer a juicing package, because you want to have the best organic fruits and vegetables if you are juicing.
On June 26, and other dates throughout the year, Off the Vine offers classes. The next one is a raw food class, learn Mexican and Italian quick raw recipes at Old Thyme Remedies. Along with the class they are offering a herbal remedies lunch class held at 2475 E 9 Mile Road in Pensacola, register at www.oldthymeremeides.com . On their website they have a variety of recipes you can use with the items in your delivery.
Here is a favorite: Fresh Mango Salsa – 2 cups tomatoes, seeded and diced, 1 1/2 cups diced peeled ripe mango, 1/2 cup diced onion, 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro, 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, 1 tablespoon cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon or less honey, 1/4 teaspoon salt, divided, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 2 cloves garlic, minced. Combine gently and enjoy.
