Each day the weather in our area gets better and better. It is time to get outside to explore. There are a vast number of walking trails in our area. See below for a good list of trails.

We have included a list of recommended supplies to gather before you hit the trail:

  • Navigation: Map (with protective case), compass, GPS (optional)
  • Sun protection: Sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses
  • Insulation: Lightweight jacket (pack in your backpack) and a hat
  • Illumination: Flashlight with extra batteries
  • First-aid supplies: Small first-aid kit
  • Waterproof container: With matches or a lighter
  • Knife or multi-tool
  • Nutrition: Small granola bars or fruit
  • Hydration: Water bottles
  • Camera
  • Binoculars
  • Toilet paper
  • Zip loc bags
  • Cell phone
  • Notepad with a pen/pencil
  • Moist towelettes
